Zaman Al Wasl announced an Arabic and English platform to follow the case of its correspondent Ahmed Huwaidi and document the circumstances of his detention. It includes a channel for submitting information and images about possible wrongdoing in healthcare, including the use of public funds and international aid.

The announcement set the launch for 5 p.m. Deir ez-Zor time on 4 November 2026.
